Product Benefits

    1. Following instructions is a fundamental life skill, taught from an early age. It is essential for children to be able to follow instructions so that they can function effectively across different environments (e.g. home, pre-school/school, when at the park or visiting a friend’s house). If a child struggles with following instructions, this impacts their ability to reach the desired ‘purpose’ or ‘outcome’ and thus complete tasks effectively.
    2. Spatial concepts define the relationship between us and objects, as well as the relationships of objects to each other. For preschoolers and young students, an awareness or understanding of spatial concepts and relationships usually predicts later success in math, reading, and following directions.
    3. Understanding positional words such as behind, in front of, at the back of, in the middle, between, next to, besides, near, far, to the left, to the right, etc. is necessary for acquiring reading and mathematical skills.
    4. Crossing the midline is vital to the development of using both sides of the body together, such as putting on shoes and socks, writing and cutting. It promotes the coordination and communication of the left and right hemispheres of the brain.

What a wonderful product! My niece loves placing the wooden pieces in the grooved wooden base to create assorted scenes. She learnt and understood her basic positional words with this fun game. Thank you for great product!
